The objective of the Change Your World urban game created by Hubbub was to have various movements compete for territory within the Rotterdam city center.

To achieve this, players engaged in bidding for ownership of 16 checkpoints distributed across a 400 by 400-meter area by planting flags. The goal was to have the most flags at the end of a round, granting the right to campaign at that specific location. Each movement had nine flags to allocate and could deploy up to three players in the field simultaneously. Players were limited to carrying one flag at a time and were not allowed to move flags belonging to other movements. Equipped with territory maps and walkie-talkies for communication, participants raced through the city dressed in vibrant attire, coordinating their efforts to decide which checkpoints to campaign at. Through this engaging and energetic gameplay, the event’s primary aims of garnering visibility in the city and fostering a firsthand experience of the value of collaboration were successfully realized.
